Date Fished: 12/30/2004 Fished the upper end of the lake out of Georgia Park from 11:00am to 4:30pm. Fished creek channels with Bomber crankbaits and Suspending Rogue Jerkbait. I finally found fish @ 2:00pm fishing the jerkbait from mouth of main river creek into the first pocket inside the creek. I was fishing the jerkbait VERY slow with a jerk-jerk-pause pattern, letting the bait suspend for several seconds. The fish would hit very lightly, then load up on the bait. I caught 4 nice keepers, 1 1lb.6oz Spot, and 3 largemouths, 3lb.1oz, 3lb.1oz, 2lb.0oz for total weight of 9lb.8oz. These fish were in less than 6 feet of water, but very close to deep water. The water had a better color to it today than the last time I fished on Tuesday and was warmer. Still have not been able to locate where the shad are. They are not in the backs of creeks.
