This is a second hand report from a good friend of mine. He and his fishing buddy regularly fish Prineville Res. for trout. While fishing with a worm and marshmallow, a nice bass grabbed a snack....After quite a fight, (he was using 3lb test leader) the fish was lipped and measured at 24 inches even, no girth taken. It was the largest bass either of my two friends had taken from there. Approximate weight estimated using the Doug Hannon estimator, was 8.5 lbs....a nice fish!
