Date Fished: 4/5/2005 Most of the fish this week are being caught free lining in the back and middle of most creeks. (just where the mud line recedes) Work the banks using blue backs on planer boards and white flukes on a ½ ounce shad jig head. Night fishing is still good using bubble gum, baby striper, and black long a bombers on south end points. The early morning bite and the night bite have been the best. Bass fishing hasn’t changed much in the past couple of days. Use spinner baits on main lake points and secondary points. We just received a big order of Mini-Me’s with a couple of new colors. (Georgia Blade spinner baits only $3.69) The Fish Head spin has created a big buzz on the lake with all the fish that it has cuaght. Worms, crank baits and jerk baits are still producing fish as well. We are still getting report of people catching fish in front of docks in 15-20 foot of water.
