Date Fished: 4/10/2005
Water Temperature: 48
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Just took the Ranger out for a test run and decided to fish, got to wet my line for an hour. Had my 7yr. old daughter with and caught an 18" largemouth on a 3/4oz. spinnerbait. I was slow-rolling it in about 8 feet of water when she bit. I've caught bigger bass in this lake, but as cold as the water is here I was glad to have caught this one. A good start to the year. If you don't already do it, please take a kid fishing this year.
