Water Clarity: 2-3 feet This report is for Friday morning, April 15th. My wife and I went to a friend's pond this morning out on Gunville Ridge this morning around 10:00. I caught one small bass that was 11 3/4 inches long on a 3/8 oz. Booyah Blade spinner bait that was chartreuse with tandem gold willowleaf blades on the third cast. Right after that my wife lost a big bluegill almost at her feet. We fished until about noon and didn't catch another fish. Of course I did have fun trying to get one to come up and blast my Snag-Proof rubber frog through all the algae and weeds on the surface. Kinda felt like being at Lake Guntersville fishing the matted hydrilla in the summer. Guess the water was'nt warm enough for that yet. Maybe better luck next time.
