Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

Fished Pinchot after work from 6 pm to 7 pm. Started using soft stick baits as I worked my way around the cove at the main ramp. Didn't get a bite. Come up to one guy with a 20 incher on a stringer. Told him bass were out of season. He acted ticked off but he put it back.

The rain started coming down lightly and I switched over to a silver/black back Husky Jerk. Caught 2 under 15 inches and lost 2 more at the first handicap access.

Worked my way back around the cove to the point on the ramp side of the cove. Second cast with the jerkbait and it got slammed. Brought in a nice largemouth, measured it, took a quick picture and slid her back in the water. Measured at 20 3/4 inches.

I had to really rip the jerkbait to get my strikes, slower retrieves were ignored.

Not a bad hour after work.
