Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Got out for a few hours each day over the weekend. 50 degrees overcast and light rain but calm winds made it bearable. Fishing was not fast by any means but over 10 hours caught 15 bass, a couple nice pickerel and a 16" brown trout. All fish caught on a large rapala tail dancer, in 5-8 feet of water near laydowns and rocky points.
Presentation seemed to work if the crank was retrieved slow and erratic or very fast, not much in between. 12 largemouth, largest 19" and many 16-18's, and 3 smallmouth to 15".
Looks promising once more fish start moving up into these pre-spawn staging areas.
