Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Just returned from another great trip to Lake Huites Lodge, by far the nicest and best run Lodge on the Lake. A huge complex with all first class service vechiles and huge staff for the best service in Mexico. Lake Huites Lodge also provides direct air service to the Lake from several locations in the States, that's right no more commerical flights. No one else in Mexico does so much for there clients.
The Salazar family has trained each and every guide to find the fish and the Salazars will will put there money where there mouth is and take on any of the other guides on the Lake. Confidence is abundant at the Lodge.
Now to the fishing, we caught and released 594 fish in 4 days of fishing with over %11 of them over 7 pounds. Meduim Crankbaits from Bill Dance produced the biggest and most fish. Also spinnerbaits in 22 foot of water attracted the fish in the 3 to 4 pound range.
The lake is really hot.
