Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater I fished on Quachita Friday and Saturday. Friday I was Prefishing for a tournament sat. I caught 21 Largemouths and spots, 1 Striper, 1 crappie and 3 Pickeral (how ever you spell it). I had some decent blacks. One over 3 lbs and a kentucky tha weighed 2 lbs. Saturday we a different day. It was lighting and raining as the toourament began. The wind was also blowing. My partner and I caught most of our fish on a top water. Our best 4 fish came on a spook. I continued to catch fish on the spook until about 12:30. The clouds began to break and they would not come up anymore. We had our limit (8) at 9:00. It was a fun day of fishing, but we never could geta big bite. We had 15 lbs on 8 fish. First place was 20.53 lbs. We probably caught 30 fish during the day. We would have caught more but we tried to move deeper and caught a big fish later in the day. It was a fun day of fishing, but Quachita still is a couple of years away from being back.
