Subject: The Columbia is RED HOT!!!!, Oregon

Water Clarity: 2-3 feet I fished the columbia River in The Dalles area Saterday! I got a total of 93 small mouth bass!!!! I also got 22 over 3 pounds. The bass have moved into the calm water of the backwater areas. The bass have not started the spawn yet! So NOW is the time to fish for them before they are making more bass! Next week will also be good. The lure that the bass liked best was a senko. I fished out of my small boat (8 foot:-) with trolling moter only. You can even get them using a float tube right now! My biggest bass of the day was 3 pounds 10 oz. The top five fish for the day totaled 17 pounds 8oz and thats in my dinky boat. So If you have a bass boat you can cover more area and get even more bass! You can also get into some three pound small mouth bass from shore!!!!
Now is the time to get some nice bass BUT put them back to make more bass! all the bass I got are back in the river!
