Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

The fishing conditions in summers county west virginia on the Greenbrier and New River coming down into Bluestone Damn and Sandstone Falls are quite a success...Due to the milder temps the water is still in the high 60's with the fish very active...Using bright jigs, minnows, grubs, and softshells are the best bet..Rafting from the greenbrier into the new river will probably get your best results but the new river has the much larger fish and more hits..If you have the chance do try the twin rivers with the beautiful scenery or go behind the damn and fish bluestone lake where crappie are still biting along with catfish...I have fished this for 16years and your bound to some nice fish sooner or later..

good fishing, gabe
