Water Clarity: 2-3 feet This report is for Wednesday, June 1st. Took the whole family up to our neighbor's pond for the evening after we finished our little cookout. We fished from about 5:45 until about 7:30. My wife caught about 10 sunfish total, bluegills, greens, and hybrids of the two using Berkley Gulp yellow corn nuggets. My twelve year-old daughter, Samantha even caght a few, I think maybe 5 or 6 sunfish using the same bait. My two boys also caught 6 or 8 apiece with the Berkley Gulp too. The only one who did'nt catch anything was me and I was bass fishing. Tried a half ounce Strike King premier elite spinnerbait in fire tiger shad. Then I tried a J-13 Rapala jointed floater that was gold. Then I tried a gold half ounce Rat-L-Trap and still nothing to show for my efforts. The last thing I tried was the same Strike King 3X Zero that I used the day before to catch that little 8" bass but did'nt catch anything on it this time. Just a bunch of blugills that would'nt leave it alone and every time I'd set the hook, it would come flying back at me. Oh well, at least we all had some good family time anyway.
