Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Hi fellow bassers, looks like summer has finally arrived. Fished for the first time WITHOUT a rain suit on and got some sun, aahhh, it was GREAT!!!!! Well, i think the bass must of thought something was wrong because for the first two hours we fished, ( the water was the hightest i have ever fished unity) through trees and grass right up on peoples lawns around all sorts of flooded stuff and nothing. I think they were tree frogs and they were singing VERY loud and in the daytime which me and my friend Jim couldn't believe. We ended up fishing a spot that used to hold some nice largemouths and jim hooked a crappy so we switched gears. Yes ,i know but they were bitting and the bass weren't so we had a field day with the crappy. We finally had enough fun with the little guys and went to another spot to fish for smallies. We ended up catching 5 with the biggest being 3 pounds. Caught them around rocks with spinnerbaits, rattletrap and grubs. We fished until 3pm and called it a day. All said and done we caught about 10 bass total, 5 were keepers and a WHOLE load of the OTHER fish, lol. The day was great and being on the water with a friend no matter what the bass are doing makes it a great day. Take care friends and i'll be writting soon, DAVID
