Date Fished: 7/14/2005 Water Temperature: 77 The striper fishing continues to be good. Our guides (Shane Watson's boats) are catching fish on downline bluebacks fished from 25-35 feet deep over a 35-60 feet bottom. The leadcore line bite is also working well most days. The are fish in the mouths of most creeks on the south end up to River Forks. Shane's boats have caught fish up to 25 pounds this week. The bass fishing is also good using Chug Bugs, Spooks, Flukes, and Fishhead spins. The night fishing is good using black spinner baits after dark. We now have 8 new Fishhead spin colors in stock. We are adding a new fly fishing section at the store, new items are arriving daily. The Hammonds wednesday night tournament results are as follows. David Picklesimer and Mike Shepard won with 14.90 pounds. Second place was Brad Wiley and Tim Adams with 12.04 pounds. Third place was Jason Brunson and Ben Lancaster with 11.36 pounds. Fourth place was Billy Day and Jewell Picklesimer with 10.82 pounds. Big fish was 3.86 and won by Eric Blair and David Barnes. We would like to thank everyone who fishes and supports the Wednesday night tournament.
