Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater spent week in cape vincent. fishing was sub par versus last 2 years. weather was a factor i believe. wind blew hard for most of week. when it laid down fishing was really good for us. caught loads of smallies on a series of shoals on senkos and hawg craws. most shoal fish in the 1.5-3 lb range. did get 1 over 4. broke of some quality ones as well. the fish there are strong. cant complain about it as the place is so beautiful. wish wind would have allowed more time on shoals as i could do nothing around pts of islands. spent whole time in area of lake fleet islands and grindstone island near clayton.
