Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Went out Monday night on the 9th right after that storm had rolled through. I was fishing pond off of Highland Village RD which is fed by the run off of Lewisville Lake. I had found a spot for shore fishing over in a neighborhood off of Garden Ridge. Had to hike back in there, and wade through weeds up to my waist but it was worth the whole trip. Me and two buddies from church pulled in over forty pounds of bass, and over sixty pounds of catfish in a twentyfour hour period I was only going to go for three hours but the bass were biting so quick I called home and told them I would see them on Tuesday. The bass really started hitting hard right at dusk, and the later the evening grew it seemed the bigger the bass we were catching. We pulled in one large mouth weighing in a little over 8.5 lbs. We were running a C-rig with a 4" electric blue twirler. We also tried several other colors through out the evening but had the most luck with the blue ones. The only break we had in biting was from around 530-945 on tuesday morning. They started striking again but not as good, afteronly catching five more in a three hour period we decided to call it a day and go home.
