What a morning on Grand. I started out throwing the old Pop-R just not a good bite on it I had 1 short Kentucky and 1 largemouth that might have been a keeper was all. I then started flipping brushpiles and docks with brush tied on them. 1st dock I pulled up on I got a solid 3 plus fish out the brush, and missed another.

Down the bluff to another set of docks, another 3 plus fish right off. Next dock I caught my biggest fish of the year, she weighed 7.13 on my digitals, I had to get a picture so I put her in my livewell and continued on after shaking and smiling for a few mins. I moved into a cove just off the bluff and fished a dock just inside the bend and another good fish around 3 lbs off that dock, I'm really thinking this is incredible. I fished back to a secondary point with no results.

As Im fishing my way back to the main lake I meet two guys fishing the Triton tourney and they were gracious enough to take a couple pictures for me so I could get the big gal back in the lake, Thanks to the guys in the white Champion, I hope you got on them, and placed well.

Any way I continued on and caught several fish in the 2 to 3 lb class, with one exception almost the last dock I pitched in I got another 5 plus fish. I'm sure I could have put together 18 plus lbs in just 4 hrs. But I had to get in and go to work, What a day it was though.
