Oh the wind did blow. Fished club tournament in the morning until 10:30am and then we went back at 5:30pm. Wind was gusting to 35 mph, which made the finesse bite a little tough. First place went to a guy throwing a buzzbait and spinner bait around timber. My lone fish came on a Giggy Head when the wind stopped blowing for 30 minutes in the morning. This is a nice little lake with a lot of structure, but when the wind blows that hard it's nearly impossible to hold the boat in position.
