Water Clarity: 1 foot Went Sat. early with an old friend who doesn't get out much. Fished mid lake and the wind was bad, not the worst I've seen, but just bad enough to make things tough. We tried top water long enough to "backrash" 2 reels and then we headed for south coves. Fished lilly pads with top water with only one strike in the 1st 2 coves. Then headed to the North side of the lake for some wind relief. We ate a biscuit and talked awhile and then broke out the spinnerbaits, and started catching. Biggest one was about 3 and nearly ripped the pole outta my hands. They weren't big but they were fun to catch. My buddy wanted to be back by noon to watch football. So I reluctantly headed back in. Football is great, but hey I've got a radio. Anyway, I'm going to try and take off Monday afternoon to catch a few more. I think they are ready for anything moving fast over grass right now.
