Message: Rene Salazar, while fishing with Rod Phillips of the West Texas Sportsman TV show, had a fantastic morning of fishing. Starting with the biggest fish - they caught a 15.3 in 35 feet of water on a 1 oz. rattletrap, a 14.10 on a magnum chartreuse lizard in 25 feet of water, a 13.5 on a green pumpkin worm; four fish over 10 lbs. and nine fish over 9 lbs. Chad and Ray Davis, while fishing with Sixto Figaroa, had incredible topwater action this a.m. using a magnum zara spook, caught 50 fish between 2 and 6 lbs. Rene says the lake is ready and waiting.
