Date Fished: 11/1/2005 I fished a full day today with a friend from Atlanta. Today was the best day for big smallmouth in the last week. We stayed near the dam until mid-day and then went down river fishing. We mainly fished live bait, but did catch a few on Shakey heads rigged with YUM Houdini worms (green pumpkin). For the day, we caught about 20 bass (most were smallmouth) and about 20-25 other assorted species. Our best five bass would have weighted 17-19lbs with the big fish being a smallmouth pushing 5lbs. I will post a picture of this fish over the next couple of days. I have just a few days open the remainder of November if any one is interested in a trip.
