Hi fellow bassers, Well, it's that time of the year that I hate to see come. I found the smallies today in 12 feet of water on a drop that went from 8-18 feet close to a flat. I was unable to fish this area due to the wind lately and today the wind was right and I was able to check it and found two nice smallies that wanted to bite. The first hit my silver buddy, 1/2 oz. in 12 feet running it up the drop.(thanks Bruce)and the second hit on a tube(blk/blu)at it was dropping. Both smallies tried hard to jump but as the water had dropped from 47 to 45 in just a couple of day, they really didn't want to come out of the water longer to get unhooked and a quick release. An 18 and 19 incher and a 16 inch l/m made the report for the end of the 2005 season. I want to thank all the bassers that called and e-mailed me over the season and to the ones that I had the chance to fish with and enjoyed the time on the water with. A special thank you goes to Mike and E.J at Tournament Force Tackle for the help with my custom spinnerbaits and friendly "bass talk" to help me and my partner Larry win the club championship in Central Maine Bassers. I order one day and get it the next, can't beat that. I hope everyone had great fishing season and for everyone very south of MAINE continues to catch the Hawgs.(Bruce,Bob) I hope to hear from you bassers over the winter and we can tell some fish stories.(lol) Give me a call @ 207-884-4433, lets talk. As my good friend from Texas would say, I'll talk to yall later, DAVID
