Water Clarity: 0 Fished the creek around the fair play ramp just off of I-85 today with a buddy. Unfortunately, only had about 4 hours worth of fishing but made the best of it considering I was on an unfamiliar body of water.
Caught 6 fish total, 4 different species. Had a 2lb. spot and a dinky largemouth on a lucky craft pointer. The largemouth about 1-2' deep, the spot about 14' of water. Another small largemouth (about 1.75lbs) back in a pocket off of a banked brush pile with a jig. Pickerel on a crankbait off a steep rocky point about middle ways back in a pocket. Another largemouth that weighed about 2.25lbs. in 46'of water on a jigging spoon. Had another get off with that one. And a 4" crappy on a 3/4oz. jigging spoon in 45 feet of water underneath the 85 bridge in that creek. That one baffled me. I didn't snag it, it actually had the spoon in it's mouth, at least what part of the jig would fit in it's mouth. Had something larger on underneath the bridge but never got to see it.
Wish I had more time, buddy blanked but did get some hookups on the spoon, just didn't get them landed.
