Date Fished: 3/3/2006 Water Temperature: 51 Steve Townsend and I headed back up to Hartwell yesterday for a day of relaxation. I got a email yesterday from a hartwell home owner scolding me for saying the lake was down 3-5 feet the day before. LOL. The lake looked down farther than it actually is so it fooled me. My guess is its around a foot down but looks more than that with the flat banks. Now to the fishing. Steve I have a awesome day on Hartwell yesterday. We worked small crankbaits for most of the morning catching a good many smaller bass and a few 2 pounders. ONce the sun came out and pushed the fish under the docks, we smacked them for the rest of the day. Most of our fish were caught on a small Baby Boo Jig from Booyah and a YUM worm rigged on a spotsticker jighead. We had 15 pound easy and another couple of limits that were over 12 pounds. Fish were in small feeder creeks with pockets at the back of them. Once you get in good pocket, you can whack them on every dock. It was great spending the day with a guy that I grew up with and learned how to fish with. Steve and I have been fishing together for almost 30 years now and have won numerous events together. He is about the best jig fisherman I have ever met and it was nice showing him that a spotsticker jighead will catch one too. LOL. Good luck everyone Ryan
