Water Clarity: 1 foot I had two groups with me on this trip to Hacienda Santa Fe on the Purafacation River. Catching buck bass was not a problem (100 per day per boat). Catching bigger fish was a problem the first two days then we figured them out and caught much larger fish. The largest was 9 pounds with an 8 being the next largest. We had several fish in the 4 - 7 pound range. Best lure to catch numbers was the 6 inch watermelon lizard with a 3/16 oz weight Texas rigged. Small spinner baits also worked very well with the buck bass. The larger fish wanted a Baby Brush Hog in watermelon and camo worked very slowly. I am going back tomorrow to cross a group of 24 from Tulsa, OK. We are gearing up to facilitate camping and motorhomes. We currently offer full package and room and board fishermen. I will let ya'll know when I get back Sunday the 12th of March.
