Water Clarity: 1 foot Fished newton saturday the 25th to practice up for a tournament on the 26th. There was a tournament saturday also don't know how that weigh in was though. Saturday I caught 3 keepers one weighing 5 lbs 7 oz the rest in the 19 inch range. Caught them on rc 1.5 crankbaits, spinnerbait, and finesse worms. Caught probably 20 small fish along with that so good day had fun. Sunday for tournament caught again about 25 small fish 8 fish that were 17 and 3/4 pissed me off haha but no keepers at all had a bad day. Wasn't too upset when I came to the weigh in not many people brought in keepers only 6 or so out of 18 boats. It was a 5 fish limit and two people had a limit with a little over 22 winning the tournament they also had the 6 lb 4 oz big bass so I'm sure they got a couple good checks. I still think it's a little early for them to get extremely aggressive usually middle April I start catching a lot of fish on topwater about all I throw all day late spring. Good Fishing to all.
