Date Fished: 3/31/2006 Water Temperature: 61 This report is for yesterday and today, Thursday fished for about 3 1/2 hours jumping from place to place from mid lake to below Waxahatchee Creek. Today fished about the same amount of time but just fished the mid lake area from Spring Creek to almost Cedar Creek. Started out both mornings fishing shallow with black/blue and watermelon toads and swimming a white jig, then moved to piers and a few rock banks in 6 to 15 feet of water after the sun got up with 3/16 spotstickers rigged with spotsticker key lime pie and green glitter hand poured worms and zoom black and plum finesse worms. Thursday missed several fish shallow and today only had two bites shallow but got both of them, both were LM in the 2 - 2 1/2 lb range. I had four keepers and a couple of short fish yesterday with none over 2 1/2 lbs with a mix of LM and spots. Today had seven keepers with a couple of short fish. Best fish today was a 3 1/2 LM that came off a pier in about 6 feet of water on the key lime pie worm and jig head.
