Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished little O on Sunday from about 930-2. Caught around 15 total all on jerkbaits. Fish seemed to be staging out front of spawning coves on any structure. Biggest went about 3lb.'s with several decent fish just under that. Fished Killock pond with the small boat on Monday from 10-4. Had a ball catching about 30 fish with jerkbaits. Had two over four pounds on back to back casts. Then went around a corner and fished a deeper shoreline right after a shallow flat and you wont beleive what happened. I'm reeling in what seems to be a decent fish, and when I saw it realised there was two fish on the lure. Right at the boat I netted one while the other one came unbuttoned while floating right near the boat. The one I landed went about 3 1/2 while the other looked like it went over 4. I know it seems that the bigger one always got away, but I got a good look at it. Most of this action occured when the sun was out. At around 230 the clouds came and and fish shut off. Also caught a smallmouth just under 2 pounds. Will be heading out on thursday with a friend, and will try to post.
