Date Fished: 4/14/2006 Water Temperature: 70 I had one of the greatest experiences that a guide could ever have on the water today. I had the pleasure of fishing with Mr.& Mrs.Bill and Patty Wilkes from Athens, Al. Mrs.Wilkes gave her husband Bill a 1/2 day trip with Bassin Adventures for his 65th birthday present.We put in at Goosepond and didn't go far as Mrs.Wilkes is prone to seasickness.We managed a few smaller fish,a few average fish and one very nice fish.I think she would push the 7lb. mark but we didn't keep her out long enough to put her on the scales just a quick pic and back to bed she went.Any way this couple enjoyed their day together so much and Mrs.Wilkes told me to be sure and tell everybody what a great idea it is to give a guide trip as a gift (I think she enjoyed his present as much as he did)!
