Water Clarity: 1 foot Went fishing for the first time in a few years. Counted about 15 people along the shore to the right of the boat launch and pier. This is right across from the beautiful and large houses on the other side in Occoquan. Observed a man catch an 12" herring (nightcrawler). Observed another man catching small Stripers! He was hooking small bluegill and just casting and waiting. I saw him catch 2. One was pretty small (about 8"), and the second put up a good fight and was about 14". I was skunked, and most others were not catching anything at all. Did speak with a guy that was using a spoon, and he caught a 2.5 lb striper the night before on it. Sounds like the stripers are coming in!
