Fishing has been a little off for the most part over the past two days. With the cloudy weather, the fish are just slow and scattered. I have been having some decent sucess with topwater (Super Spooks ) and some decent sucess with Mini Me spinnerbaits on windy points. Other than that, just alot of small fish on Spotsticker Jigheads. Yesterday, we did not catch alot of fish but we had a nice 13-15 pound bag with the big fish above (4-9) on a Mini Me spinnerbait. Today we got into some stripers and caught some nice ones. We had some very nice blowups out of no where. Some of the fish have been over 20 pounds. Look for the fishing to pick up over the next few days with the sun coming back. The fish will get back on the structure and will be much easier to find. The wind has been switching a good bit lately and mostly coming from the North East which is not our best direction.
