Subject: Lanier, Georgia Submitted by Matt Springer
Date Fished: 5/13/2006 Water Temperature: 69 Got back out today with Kirk, and we added Bill Hartley for a few hours in the afternoon. The morning was a little slow for us, but when the wind started blowing it got better, and when the rain hit it got good. Caught around 18-20 total with one fish pushing 4 lbs. (in the picture) and 5-6 in the 2.75-3.25 lb. range, figure our best five was around 16 lbs. The best five hit a mixture of baits, 2 on the fishhead, 2 on a spinnerbait, and one on a worm. Most of our fish came on the ends of long points, and off of humps. There are 2 remarks about this report. Click here to see them. |
