Water Clarity: 0 I braved the wind and went out this morning about 9. I made my way back into a creek that had some flooded buck brush and grass. Trying to fish the flooded stuff I was throwing a jig and sometimes a big worm. After 2 small fish I finally landed one about 2lbs on the jig. I was also noticing when I pitched the jig into the flooded bushes, small shad would scatter from them, as they did that the bass would just clobber them. I tied on a RC 1.5 in the black and chart. color and proceeded to catch quite a few nicer fish along with several small ones. My largest was a 6 lb flathead catfish.
Not a bad morning as I ended up with 6 keeper bass from 2 to 3.5 lbs. and several 10 to 14" fish.
