Date Fished: 5/16/2006 Back out on cool Sid today. Fishing started a little slow but ended up producing some very big fish today. The water is still cool, ranging in the upper 60's mostly and the air is not far behind. LOL. It actually feels good but its a bit cold for mid May. We worked the south end of Lanier today with 3/8 and 1/2 ounce Fish Head Spins from Sworming Hornet Lures. Our best five today would exceed 20 pounds with one of my clients loosing a 5 pound spot while I was trying to lip it. LOL. It was a giant pig never the less. The numbers are not huge right now on the head but they are quality. We also caught a few good fish and a few small ones on a Green YUM worm rigged on the spotsticker jighead.
