Water Clarity: 0 I need help. I am a bass fisherman, and I am gone all the time fishing tournaments or just fishing, and my five year old son keeps asking me when does he get to fish in a tournament. So I am taking to fish in a crappie tournament this weekend, and I know absolutley nothing about crappie fishing, just thought this would be a good experience for him to get his feet wet, and then maybe he will understand a little more why dad is sooo tired when he gets home from fishing a tournament, and I also thought this would be more fun for him, just watchiong corks, and playing with minnows. Anyway, does anyone know where we can go to catch some decent size crappie? I know to fish brush piles and what not, but how deep are they, and are you catching bigger ones on minnows or on jigs? They have to ten inches to keep in this tourney, so I guess we need to find some big ones. Thanks for any help.
