Water Clarity: 1 foot First time fishing the river this past weekend and boy are there a lot of Pike and Pickerel in this water! I had to have caught 6 or 7 a day not counting the many bite off's on any bait I threw at em. I finally moved to the main river and started catching smallmouth and largemouth with great frequency on a Black and Red crankbait. Oh, I forgot to mention the stripers....hold on if you get one on light tackle..
