After what seems like a kerjillion years my partner and I finally won the Lions Club Bass Tournament. We had a 2 day total of 33 # of fish and it was great. Bad news is that the Lions Club no longer gives trophies as they have for the past 23 years and because we Bass Fishers are big on egos it took a lot of the fun out of the win. I have talked to several fishermen that say they won't fish it again because of this and that's too bad. The whole point of the tournament is to raise money for charity and thats a good thing. I hope that everyone will drop the Lions club a line and reconsider for next year. They gave away some fishing tackle and if they had used that money to buy plaques, trophies or certificates we would have been more satisfied. I really hope we all get together again next year and go again. Good fishing........
