Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Beginning of the week report (06-20-06). After being off sick the end of last week, I started back working on Sunday and the downline fishing was good. Today (Monday), the downline bite was really good on my boat using regular size bluebacks, fished 40 feet deep over a 45-60 foot bottom. I fished pockets and just off of deep humps with a slick bottom on the southend. It's been about the same on all of our other boats for the most part. A couple of these guys have caught fish trolling leadcore. There continues to be fish up the lake, but the better size fish are showing up on the southend. Overall, the fishing remains good. You will have better success if you don't fish in these big packs of boats, keep moving and try to find some fish that have not been beat down that day.
