Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished Lake George over the weekend for the bass season opener and the action was amazing. Slow moving baits deeper, and small faster moving baits shallow got best results. Caught 40+ mixed bag smallies and LM. The biggest LM was a 5.2 lb. bass caught shallow and the biggest Smallies was 2.9 lbs. caught on a Rapala X-rap in about 5 feet of water. Dark colors outperformed the light ones. Fish the windy side the downwind side definately was a tougher bite.
