Date Fished: 7/1/2006

Water Temperature: 86
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Tuesday my client and I fished a short half day trip basically just showing him the lake and going over some areas for his tournament that was coming up. We caught a few on topwater and a few flipping. He wasn't worried about catching many due to the tournament. After I took him to one of my hot spots and they came up schooling and the water was alive with swirles everywhere and baitfish and brim running for thier lives he knew they where there and all he had to do was catch them. I showed him a few more spots and called it quits due to him needing to get back to finish some work.

On Wednesdays trip we started with topwater and threw it and threw it and after only catching one about 2 lbs after hitting 3 spots that they had been killing it on I said its time to flip. They had never done it but after about 15 minutes they had it down. We ended up catching 23 fish. Most were 2 to 3 pounders but we did get a couple of good bites. Around 11 o'clock they had to call it quits and head back to their family reunion.

For Thursday trip things were a lot tuffer. We started with topwater and had some blow ups and caught a few but there wasn't any activity going on so we started flipping looking for some big ones. We only managed to get about 15 bites and had one good one. We only boated 10 or 11 fish. I talked with some others that never got a bite or just caught 2 or 3 fish but talked with 1 other friend that had several bites flipping but that's how it goes here on the big G. One day you can catch 20 to 25 lbs off a spot and the next day you don't get a bite there. It's kinda like one day your a hero and the next day your a zero, LoL.

My next open days are the 7/3 7/5 7/6, 7/7, and 7/8, of next week if anyone wants to get out for a while.

Catchem, take a pic and then release them.

See ya on the water.
