Water Clarity: 6 inches The Angler's of Christ held its 3 tournament of the year out of the Verdunville Landing. 9 Teams participated in the event and a total of 27 fish caught totaling 55.55 lbs. Robert Giles and Jim Walton had big stringer for the day with 10.53 lbs, Lawrence Brunet and Mike McFaul, Jr. paired up for 10.12 lbs while Daniel "Mullet" Bryant and Joe Phillips took 3rd with a 7.74 lb bag. Individually, Brunet bagged 7.33 lbs, Randy Prejean sacked 6.52 lbs and Giles had 6.33 lbs. Elmer Savoie hooked a nice 3.19 pounder for Big Fish for the day. Bayou Benoit is next up on August 26th.
