Went night fishing on Blairs and was hitting bass in 1 to 2 pound range on 3 inch curltail grub. Also caught a 2 pound catfish, first time pulling one of them out of Blairs. Fish stopped hitting when the sun came up so I moved to Haven. Worked the edges all the way around, caught one near spillway by road was about 1 1/2 pounds. Moved all the way around getting a load of bites but none hung on. Moved to pads in back and started catching them there, again in 1 to 2 pound range then one hit that had to be at least 6 pounds. Almost had him in the boat then he gave one more shake and straightened a Gamakatsu hook. Will be going back for him this weekend!
