Water Clarity: 0 Great news from Lake Huites, lots of rain from the Hurricane last week, and the lake is now over 100% full! When we opened last season Huites was also 100%+, and fishing was incredible. George, our lodge manager, fished last week with his son and in just a couple hours of fishing had one over 10 pounds! George said the lake looked great, and the fish appeared to be in excellent shape.
Fishing last year was exceptional all season long, and we expect it will be again this year. It was really a matter of picking the time of year that matches the way you enjoy to fish, and getting down there.
I am heading down next week with new trolling motors, seats, electronics, etc. We will be remounting the engines and new trolling motors, and be ready for some great fishing! We have some incredible fall specials available right now, so give me a call to get in on the action!
