Water Clarity: 6 inches Heard good things about fish being in the grass up the North Anna. Ran up there and spent the better part of the afternoon spinnerbaiting and flipping the grass and pads. I went all the way to the end (past the duck blinds) and NADA....Nothing. The river was very muddy. Headed back to mid lake to see if the rain and cool weather pushed the bait to the backs of the creeks yet. As far as I can tell it has not. Did not start marking bait balls until I got to the mouths of the creeks. Looks to be still in summer mode. Fished some deep midlake structure (dropshot) and got a few keepers. Was a very slow day...or I was just in the wrong spots!!LOL!!
