Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fished under blue-bird skies and not a breath of wind...beautiful day but not exactly perfect fishing conditions. Definitely a tough lake! Caught a limit in 5 hours but had to work for it, and it was only an 8.5 pound sack. Caught nothing on plastics, all fish caught on a crankbait. Guess the northern end of the lake (up in the river) is where it's at, because the southern end was TOUGH. Looking forward to Ernie's tournament this weekend. Weather says the conditions should be about the same as I dealt with Sunday. That ought to make it interesting but I still don't think I'll have a chance against the 16 lb sacks it's taking to win these days. Not much traffic on the lake Sunday. All fish caught were fat and healthy (but a little on the short side). Left with a sunburn and a smile, though. Come out and fish the tourny with us, and after you beat me for God sakes tell me how to catch some fish in this lake!
