Water Clarity: 0 Shore fishing a lake where you can get to pretty much the entire lake with good long casts, but boats are not allowed.
Fished the new moon phase expecting to get some bites. Fished both shallow and deep for largemouth using surface cranks, suspending cranks, deep diving cranks, spinnerbaits, large and small plastics, fineese Gulp baits, and even a live crawler on a harness. Not one strike in 3 1/2 hours.
This was a day before the really nasty rain hit, but a day after the cold weather hit. I'm thinking that the fish are probibly grouped up in a warmer water spot somewhere in the lake that I haven't found. Now with the cold rain and flooding, I'm wondering how and when I'll find them again.
Any ideas on where the fish might be when this cold rain stops and we're just left with 35 to 65 degree temps starting on Friday 11/24?
