Water Clarity: 1 foot The Concordia Bass Club of Vidalia ended their 2006 fishing year on a cold 44-47 degree Lake St. John December 9th when air temp reached only 50.
Winner Danny "Team Triton" Smith of Monterey blew out everyone with a 17.98 pound limit stringer on jigs to easily also claim the 2006 club championship besides this event.
Ken McKnight of Vidalia had a 12.17 limit on spinnerbaits for second, 3rd was guest Doug Jordan (RBC member) with 3 for 9.02 on jigs, Bryan Robinson was 4th with 4.78 (the lunker also) and 5th was Alonzo Walker with 2 for 4.66. The tough day meant only 2 limits, 24 keepers and 7 zips for the 19 members plus 2 guests comprising the hard core anglers.
Also weighing fish were: George Prince (1 for 4.12), Albert Crouch (1 for 4.07), Grady Boykin (1 for 3.41), Ricky Gillespie (1 for 2.47), Ronnie Gillespie (1 for 2.13), John (Go-Mart sponsored) Bruce (1 for 1.81), Doug Schexnayder (1 for 1.71) and Tim Houghton (1 for 1.54).
Others fishing included guest Brett Orth, Theodore Walker, Ronny Douglas, Mark Morace, Jimmy Hodges, Joe Houghton and Chris Houghton.
