Water Clarity: 6 inches At 6:00am the ramp temp was 57. When I left at 1:30 temp at ramp was 58.5. Fished hot water side all day. The water level is up enough to cover the weeds; that's were the fish are! Started out first thing with a buzz bait. First 2 casts had 2 small fish. By 8:00 had a limit (3-18in.) Put the buzz down when sun got higher and went to a shallow (1 ft) diving crank bait in a orangish/chart./red (It must look like a bluegill to them?). Caught 3 more keepers and lots of smaller fish just throwing over the top of the weeds; at times just waking it. Had one big (7 lb.?) miss the bait. Also caught several small fish on a 1/4 oz. silver chatterbait. Water temps got up 70* further north. My fish were caught in 62-65* water. I'm sure you could catch them on the cold side but I was having too much fun to check it out. Hope this helps. Beware of MULTIPLE tournaments every weekend= lots of pressure.
