Subject: Guntersville(morning trip pics), Alabama Submitted by SPINNERBAIT KID GUIDE SERVICE
Date Fished: 3/22/2007 Water Temperature: 59 Had a full day and then a half day trip today. The full day we caught 5 pretty quick on a rattletrap. Then we switched to plastics and caught 11 more. All fish were good keepers with 2 right at 5 lbs. Our best 5 went 20 1/2. All fish caugth in 5-8 ft along humps and points. I got to experiment and had 2 hard hits but missed 2 on a big hot momma swimbait. On the half day trip the client wanted to catch a big fish so we used swimbaits and plastics. We only had 6 bites but they were all big fish. He caught his personal best right at 8 lbs. We also had a 7,6,5, and 4. Our best 5 went 30 lbs in the short trip. We caught the fish in deeper water on points. Total for the day 22 fish best 5 31 lbs. The pic in this post is for this morning and the other post has the pic of the afternoon fish.
