We had our monthly club tournament this past weekend on Eufaula and the fishing was good. A lot of members caught fish all day. I was lucky enough to take first place with 5 fish going 15.84. I caught fish most of the day working points around the Whiteoak Creek area with a carolina rig lizard. Both 2nd and third place had nearly tens pounds each although I am not sure how they caught them. The next few weeks should be great on Eufaula as the fish continue to move toward the shallows.

I have tried posting our up coming open tournament on the tournament page but have not had any luck. On Saturday April 7, 2007 we will host our 16th annual open team tournament at Lake Eufaula going out of Lake Point Sate Park. Entry fee is $150 and payback is 80% 1 in 5. If we get 100 boats 1st place will be $4,000.00. Also, we will have an optional $10 big fish pot that will be 100% payback.
